About Luna
Red hair in Mayfair still turns heads and Luna has stopped pretending otherwise. She is 171 cm and curvy, her dark auburn red worn long, her eyes brown and steady. At 22 she is the most striking arrival on this list and, oddly, the easiest to sit with once the first drink has been poured.
Her English is fluent and she is funnier than her photographs suggest. She likes people, asks direct questions and is entirely unembarrassed about enjoying herself. She dances, badly and with commitment, knows the good record shops, and has a talent for making a two hour booking feel unhurried rather than short, which is not a trick that can be taught. She is not remotely precious about any of it. She will eat standing up, change a plan twice and laugh at herself before anybody else gets the chance, which is why she is such easy company across a long evening.
Her standard suggestion is Cecconi's on Burlington Gardens, a late table, the room busy enough to be interesting and quiet enough to hear each other across it. From there it is three minutes to the Albemarle Street hotels and about six to Park Lane. She lives in Mayfair, so on a good night the gap between the desk confirming and her knocking at your door is under half an hour. She walks between Bond Street and Berkeley Square most days and knows which doors are open late and which only look it.
She keeps her nights on the Mayfair page. The figure against each duration is set out under rates. One line through booking with a hotel, and Romilly does the arranging.

How her evening opens
Luna takes late bookings and short ones with equal grace. Send Romilly the hotel, the hour and the length, and she is very often confirmed for the same evening.
Every figure she works to is on the board of rates, and the rest is one message away.
An evening with Luna
Luna's ideal evening starts at nine and refuses to be rushed. A drink first, standing up, because she talks better on her feet. Then a late table where the kitchen is still enjoying itself and the room has a bit of noise in it. She orders more than two people need and shares all of it, and she is the sort of company who makes the people at the next table wish they were at yours.
The end of the night is quieter than the start, which surprises guests who have only seen the photographs. She likes the walk back through Mayfair when the shops are lit and nobody is about, and she likes an hour afterwards with the lamps on low and no particular subject. She keeps to the finishing time exactly, and she is cheerful about it, which makes all the difference.
Late. Nothing good has ever happened to me at six o'clock. Book me from nine and you get the better version.
Louder at dinner and much quieter afterwards. Most people are surprised by the second half.
Decide something. Anything. A man who has picked the restaurant has already made the night easier for both of us. I will happily fill in every other detail from there.
