Six in true black, and what tends to come with it
Six women here have black hair rather than a dark brown that passes for it in a low room. Angelika, Danielle, Karolina and Milena wear it long and dead straight. Roxi wears it long and loose. Violetta wears it sleek, and at 178 cm she is the tallest name on the whole list.
There is a temperament that runs through the six and it is not a coincidence of colouring: five of them are notably composed, and four of them are the names the desk reaches for when an evening has other people in it. The sixth, Roxi, is the quietest booking on this page and knows it.

Angelika is 172 cm, athletic, brown eyed, 24, and Mayfair based. Tennis, contemporary art and long dinners, and an evening that runs to the minute without anybody having to mention the time.
Danielle is 170 cm, curvy, brown eyed, 29, and comes up from South Kensington. History, late museum openings and small restaurants, and the most patient company on the whole list.
Karolina is 174 cm, slim, brown eyed, 27, and lives four minutes from the Opera House. Ballet, theatre and early tables that keep to time. Milena is 175 cm, curvy, brown eyed, 25, and at her best across four hours rather than one.
Roxi is 168 cm, curvy, brown eyed, 23, and asks for a firm start time rather than a window. Violetta is 178 cm and slender, 30, formal on arrival and extremely dry by the second hour.
Where the six are strongest
Covent Garden belongs to Karolina, who builds an evening backwards from a curtain and has never made a guest miss one. Bloomsbury belongs to Danielle and Roxi between them, one for a late museum hour and a small table, the other for a snug bar with no music in it.
Angelika and Milena cover the W1 postcodes, one from inside Mayfair and one from twenty five minutes out. Violetta starts on the Strand terrace with the river doing most of the work and is the name for an evening where somebody is being introduced.
Composure, and what it is worth
Four of the six are regularly booked for rooms with colleagues, clients or strangers in them. That is not about how anybody looks; it is about arriving early, reading a table in the first two minutes and leaving at the agreed hour without making an occasion of it. Danielle has never once asked a question about money, which in her experience is the quickest way to spoil an otherwise good evening.
The other half of the page is quieter. Roxi can walk from one end of a Bloomsbury square to the other without being looked at once, and says that is exactly why she lives there.
